Life’s a Bitch have attended more LANs than Killersan’s victim count, with various different members in attendance over our 8 year history. These have normally been either through our own small LAN events like LaB-LAN or at various small venues around the UK. These were times where people would jump at the chance to have some lag-free gaming away from their 56k modem, sitting in front of their massive CRT screens!

Times are changing and LAN events have got bigger and bigger. The most Popular event in the UK being the Multiplay i-series event. These events cater from 1500 gamers at their Newbury venue or over 2000 gamers at their Stoneleigh Park venue. This LAN event has been running for quite a few years but for some reason LaB have never attended.

We were originally going to be attending the Gumpcom LAN in October, which is a fantastic wee venue in that small country up north, prone to alcoholism and casual violence.  But unfortunately this date was moved as it clashed with i38. We were forced to choose between them like Korvy and ”its” sexuality. We had to stop and ponder for a minute.

Now that we have reformed as a CSS team with pretty much a brand new line-up we decided that this was the right time to attend a serious(?) LAN party. So LaB have decided to drop the walking stick and monocle, straighten our backs and try and mix it with the young’uns.
